Center Instrumentation Center

The Central Instrumentation Facility has been created with an objective of providing a central facility of latest and advanced tools and techniques for research in various fields of science. It houses several highly sophisticated and modern equipments. This facility is extensively used by post graduate, doctoral students and faculty members. The facility is also extended to external organizations mainly academic institutions in the Gadchiroli.

Facilities at Departments

Subject specific instrumentation facilities has been developed in each department.

Hostel

College has two hostels 1. Boys Hostel 50 accommodation capacity and 2. Girls Hostel 50 accommodation capacities. All rooms are equipped with beds, mattresses and other necessary furniture.

Hostel admission procedure

• The students will apply for hostel admission after confirmation of the Admission.
• The merit list of the students will be prepared as per merit, guidelines of Government of Maharashtra depending on the seats available in the hostels for admissions for the academic year.
• First Merit list of the students for hostels admission will be declared around 10 - 15 days from FIRST DAY of admission.
• Schedule of hostel admission as per merit will be displayed on the hostel notice board in Rector’s Office.
• Accordingly students are supposed to report for their activation and confirmation of admission in the hostels along with their parents, local guardian and original documents in the Rector’s Office.
• Rector Office will verify your original documents in all respect. Then after verification of documents your admission in the hostel will be activated by the Rectors’ Office.
• After completion of all the documents, Rector Office will allot the Room in the hostels.
• The local guardian will have to take responsibilities of their ward throughout whole academic year and suppose to report, whenever his / her presence is required and to sanction all types of leaves of his / her ward in the Rector’s Office. The local guardian should not be changed throughout the academic year.
• In case of FEMALE students, parents are supposed to see the Chief Rector / Rector, Ladies Hostels personally along with their daughter and local guardian before activation and confirmation of the hostel admission in the Rectors’ Office.
• In case of MALE students, parents are supposed to see the Chief Rector / Rector, Gents’ Hostels personally along with their son and local guardian before activation and confirmation of the hostel admission in the Rectors’ Office.
• Student and parents / guardian’s ANTI-RAGGING affidavits are mandatory for the hostel admission as per the guidelines given by the Government of Maharashtra and UGC.
• Parents and local guardian’s photo identity, adhar card, marriage certificate [ration card /passport] and residential proof are must for the hostel admission.
• Hostel identity card, hand book and all other related documents should be completed by the students, parents and local guardian and signature of the Chief Rector be obtained through issuing clerk on the same day.

Gymkhana

Gymkhana plays a pivotal role in over all development of students. Gymkhana provides a platform to students to explore their potentials in extra and co-curricular activities in several cultural and sports areas. Students of all departments take active participation in various activities conducted through gymkhana. Gymkhana also motivates and supports the students to participate in sports and cultural activities of high repute outside the College. Our College students participates in various sports and cultural events organized by various colleges.

Gymkhana organizes following events every year:
Spectrum: Every year, the institute organizes an Annual Social Gathering “Spectrum”. The students whose performance are excellent in various activities like academic, co-curricular, cultural and sports are awarded with trophy and certificate during the ceremony. During the function the cultural students organize the variety entertainment programe.

Inter- Collegiate competition:
Since the establishment of the College, the gymkhana has been playing vital role in the overall development of the students. As a results, our students have earned applauds in the competitions at University, State and National level.

ICT FACILITIES

The institution is totally technology enabled. There is 24*7 internet and Wi-Fi connection available for the staff and students. There are eight LCD projectors, audio and video recording studio, microphones (Collar and wireless), speakers, amplifier, mixer, camera and video camera. All these resources are well utilised to make teaching-learning meaningful.

The Available ICT facilities in the institution are as follows:

College Server room: is furnished with high configured server system. The college is well connected with internet and Wi-Fi, and Biometric system to monitor the movement of the staff.

Digital Library: There are 12 computers available for the student-teachers to access to electronic resources (DELNET and INFLIBNET). The library has also internet and Wi-Fi connection for the staff and students. SOUL library management system with bar code reader is established in library.

Computer cum Language Lab: Well-furnished with a server and 20 systems with high configuration and LAN connection, headphones, interactive board with LCD projector and Internet and Wi-Fi Connected.

Technology Enabled Classrooms: All the classrooms are well furnished with internet and Wi-Fi connection.

SMART class rooms are with interactive board and with internet and Wi-Fi connection.

Accessibility: The staff and Student-Teachers have an access to internet and Wi-Fi connection. The staff and student-teachers use the available computers in the institution for curricular and co-curricular activities like power point preparation, seminar and assignments, etc.

Student Satisfaction Surveys

NAAC (National Assessment and accreditation council) is conducting a Student Satisfaction Survey regarding Teaching –Learning and Evaluation, which will help to upgrade the quality in higher education. A student will have to respond to all the questions given in the following format with her/his sincere effort and thought. Her/his identity will not be revealed.

Media Centre
